COMPETENCIES

In 5M family, there are 11 competencies which every personnel must have. Related to each competency, there are sub expansions. The individuals of 5M family work according to these competencies.

 

1. Responsibility Consciousness

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Takes possession of the work given.
  • When there is some work to do or any work is given to himself, he does not abstain from taking responsibilities until he reaches the final goal of the related work.
  • Does not produce excuses for not taking responsibility.
  • Accepts the faults caused by him and takes the responsibility.
  • Diligently uses the equipments, devices and hardwares under his responsibility.
  • If required, to complete the work, he works for a long time and can take responsibilities of other works.
  • To accomplish his work, when required, uses initiatives within the limits of its power.

2. Research, Development and Continuosly Improvement

Every personnel of 5M;

  • When required, research activities are done about the current or new working subjects.
  • Without the need of being informed by other people, performs the activities related with the work such as investigating, resource searching, gathering information, examining the samples of foreign countries, competitors' analysis etc.
  • Research and development is in the essence of every work and the personnel of 5M are aware of this.
  • Keeps up with the recent developments about his job and improves himself.
  • Continuosly questions the processes of the firm, evaluates his work, performs improvement activities for efficient and effective working.
  • Performs his activies within the concept of total quality management.
  • Deneyimlerden, kendisinin ve başkalarının hata ve davranışlarından ders alır.
  • Takes lessons from the experiences , faults and behaviors of himself and the others.

3. Problem solving and being result-oriented.

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Identifies the problems related with the work, makes the required analysises and develops alternatives for the solutions.
  • Among the solution alternatives choosesthe rightest, the most applicable, the most useful and the most economic one.
  • Under the busy working environment and stress makes the right decisions immediately.
  • Does not give up when faced with problems, to over come the obstacles does the right things and gets the result.
  • Has the analytic thinking capability, can analyze, synthesize, classify, formulateandevaluatethe events and cases
  • To accomplish he executes practical and applicable approaches.

4. Teamwork

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Is conscious of the vitality of teamwork for5M.
  • In accordance with the firm's goals works with the other team elements in a harmony and adds value.
  • Is apt to teamwork. Attendant and instructive.
  • Gets on real well with companions and executives and concordant.
  • Supports and performs the decisions made in the team.
  • Cooperates with the team elements and consults the supervisors comfortably when required.
  • Brings suggestions comfortably for any problem.
  • Reacts positively to the opinions and criticisms and benefits from them.
  • As an element of a team works in solidarity and not on the side of his individual benefits but on the side of the team's holistic goals.

5.CreativinessandInnovativeness.

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Develops new ideas for performing the current works more effecitvely and efficiently.
  • Considers the applications, performs process improvement and development activities.
  • Without the exception of the current work, he is open to new ideas,concepts, methods and applications.
  • Is not opposite to innovations and changes. He has the required mentality for the adaptation of the innovations to the corporate.
  • In complex and difficult situations, he makes right and objective explanations.
  • Uses technology most effectively in his work and keeps up with the technological developments.
  • For increasing his performance, he examines his working style and method.
  • Isopen-minded and creates new job concepts which can be practically done.

6. Planning and Organization

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Has the required planning information for achieving the goals of his work.
  • Arranges the works according to their priority.
  • Makes plans enabling the usage of time and resources effectively for reaching the goals of the job.
  • Planın işlerliği, iş ve kişi organizasyonu ile koordinasyonu sağlar.
  • Provides coordination betweenthe application of plan, man and organization.
  • Has the mental power for determining a direction.

7. Communication

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Communicates comfortably with the peoplein the working environmentand has no abstention.
  • Shares the information that he has with the team membersand executivesand reports them when required.
  • In important situations, he informs his team members and executives.
  • Transfers the information to other people when required in both oral and written form. He introduces the subject persuasively and explicitly.
  • Presents his opinions explicitly and effectively and persuades.
  • Whle communicating with the people in different cultures and positions. He chooses a proper language.
  • Knows listening to people and emphatizes with them.
  • Information exchange is performed with the right people, with the proper communication devices and at the right time.
  • Complies with the rules and standards of the oral and written communication.

8.Training and developing the others

Every personnel of 5M;

  • For accomplishing the goals, supports the other personnel for the improvement of their information level, skill and competecy and directs them. He becomes good examples with his hard working and behaviors. He prepares the suitable environment and opportunitiesfor the adaptation and development of the others.
  • Develops the other's skills and competencies. For the proper behaviors, he directs them.
  • Provides opportunities for the training and improvement of the others.
  • Motivates the others by attracting, directing and delegating themfor accomplishing their goals and increasing their performance.
  • Directs the people according to their aim and supports them.

9. Customer orientation

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Foresees the changing requirements of the customer and satisfies it.
  • Communicates well with the customers and keeps track of their requirements.
  • Represents the firm well.
  • No negative behaviors occur with the customers.

10. Honestyand reliability

Every personnel of 5M;

 

  • There is consistency between his saying and applications, fulfills one's promise and does not say anything that he won't do.
  • Takes attention to ethics, is honest, reliable and behaves fairly.

 

11. Flexibility

Every personnel of 5M;

  • Has the property of working in different places with different people.
  • Keeps in step with the changing working conditions easily.
  • Has a consistent performance.
